40 Systems, Zero Manual Entry: The GLYPH Story

How a national specialty contractor connected their entire tech stack and eliminated 23 hours per week of manual data entry.
A national specialty contractor with 40+ software systems had a data entry problem. Field data entered in one system had to be manually re-entered in 3–5 others. Time tracking, material usage, daily reports, safety observations — all duplicated across platforms.
The IT team had attempted point-to-point integrations, but with 40 systems, the number of potential connections was unmanageable. Every software update risked breaking existing integrations.
GLYPH, briq's integration runtime, was deployed as a central orchestration layer. Rather than connecting every system to every other system, GLYPH creates a unified data model and manages transformations between systems automatically.
The deployment connected 40 systems over 12 weeks. Key integrations included: ERP to project management, time tracking to payroll, field reports to project management, purchasing to inventory, and estimating to project setup.
The result: 23 hours per week of manual data entry eliminated. That's the equivalent of a half-time employee doing nothing but copying data between systems — across every office.
More importantly, data consistency improved dramatically. When a change order is approved in one system, it propagates everywhere within minutes — not days.
